This policy explains, plainly and specifically, what happens to your data when you use the apps hosted on smartdevicerx.com (AutonomicScope, PulseScope, BeatPrint, and any future apps added here), and when you use the rest of this website (this page, Contact, etc.).

The short version

Camera access

AutonomicScope, PulseScope, and BeatPrint request access to your device's camera (and, where supported, its flash/torch) using your browser's standard camera permission prompt. This access is used solely to read live video frames for on-device signal analysis — detecting your pulse, estimating heart rate variability, or tracking pupil size, depending on the app. Video frames are processed in memory in your browser and discarded continuously; none are saved, screenshotted, transmitted, or stored, by us or anyone else. You can revoke camera permission at any time through your browser's site settings, and the apps simply won't function without it.

What's stored, and where

Scan results and session history (e.g. your heart rate, HRV values, or past scan dates) are saved using your browser's local storage — a feature built into every browser that keeps data only on your own device. This data:

• Never leaves your device or gets sent to any server we operate
• Is not accessible to us, or to anyone else browsing this site
• Persists only in that specific browser on that specific device, until you clear your browser data or clear it from within the app
• Is lost if you switch browsers, switch devices, or clear your browsing data — there is currently no account system or cloud sync

Third-party services these apps load

To keep the apps accurate, some rely on external code libraries loaded from a content delivery network (CDN) when the page opens — for example, AutonomicScope's pupillary light reflex feature loads a face/eye-tracking library from a public CDN. Loading any file from a CDN means your device makes a direct request to that CDN's servers, which — like any web request — can see your IP address and basic request metadata (this is standard behavior for essentially every modern website using CDN-hosted libraries or web fonts, not something specific to how these apps work). No video, image, or scan data is sent as part of that request — only the request to download the library's code itself.

The Contact form

If you submit the Contact form on this site, the information you enter (such as your name, email address, and message) is sent to us via email so we can respond to you. It is not added to any marketing list, sold, or shared with third parties, and is used solely to reply to your inquiry.

Standard web server logs

Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information for every visit (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and operational purposes — this is standard infrastructure-level logging, not something specific to the apps themselves, and we do not use it to identify or track individual visitors.

Cookies and analytics

We do not currently use advertising trackers or third-party analytics services on this site. If that changes in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly before any such tool is added.

Not a medical device, not a covered healthcare provider

These apps are experimental wellness tools, not medical devices — none are FDA cleared or validated against clinical equipment. We are not a healthcare provider, and this site is not subject to HIPAA or similar clinical health-data regulations, because no health information is collected, stored, or transmitted by us in the first place — it simply never leaves your device. That said, we've built these tools with the same care and transparency we'd want as users ourselves, and we encourage you to consult a licensed clinician for any actual health concern.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children, consistent with the fact that these apps do not collect or transmit personal data at all.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes — for instance, if a future app or feature requires server-side data handling — we'll update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. We'd encourage checking back periodically if you have ongoing concerns.
